Position Summary

The Technical Quality Control Manager is responsible for leadership, management, and continuous improvement of the company's quality assurance and quality control programs across ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and related construction materials operations. This position serves as the company's primary technical authority for materials quality, mix design development, laboratory operations, specification compliance, and customer technical support.


Primary Responsibilities

Lead all quality control and quality assurance functions.
Oversee mix design development, optimization, and approvals.
Manage laboratory operations and accreditation requirements.
Ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, TxDOT, and customer specifications.
Support operations, sales, and customers with technical expertise.
Investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
Develop and mentor quality control personnel across all locations.

Required Certifications

ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician
ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician – Level 1
ACI Aggregate Testing Technician – Level 1
