Work for our Long Island based client (Nassau County) that is a specialty manufacturer supplying data center products
Mechanical Quality Control Inspector
Join a respected manufacturing leader committed to delivering precision-engineered products and continuous quality improvement. This is your opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards across critical production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform first-article and receiving inspections on sheet metal, welded, and painted parts
Ensure products meet customer specifications, blueprints, and quality standards
Document inspection results and issue non-conformance reports for internal and supplier defects
Support calibration programs, customer complaint investigations, and process improvements
Required Skills & Experience:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, purchase orders, and technical specifications
Hands-on experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills & Experience:
