Inspects samples for conformance. Processes parts through several quality checks including visual inspection, Magnaflux, and stress/strain test. Record generation and retention.
  • Effectively communicate and advise quality control supervisors, as appropriate, when discrepancies are discovered.
  • Document findings of quality control inspections.
  • Instron and Tinius-Olsen strain/stress machine operation.
  • Magnaflux machine operation and operator validation.
  • Climber inspection.
  • Rockwell hardness tester operation.
  • Carbon shim analysis.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment as required.
  • Keep immediate inspection area and equipment clean.
  • Report any broken or missing items upon discovery.
  • Other work as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
  • Basic math and English skills.

  • Blueprint reading and utilization.
  • Procedure reading and utilization.
  • Document/Product status identification.

This role has an hourly salary range of $24.50 - $30/hr.
