Job Title: Molding Tooling Engineer
Location: Libertyville, IL

Job Description:

We are seeking a Molding Tooling Engineer with 5+ years of experience in injection molding and medical device manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mold design, tooling validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting to support high-quality production.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of injection molding tooling experience (medical devices preferred)
  • Mold design, DFM, tooling validation, and mold qualification
  • Experience with hot runner systems and thermoplastics
  • Strong troubleshooting and process improvement skills
  • Proficiency in Creo/ProE, Windchill, SolidWorks, and MS Office
  • Knowledge of mold flow analysis, first article inspections (FAI/FIR), and tooling documentation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Basic injection molding machine operation
  • Experience with electronic assemblies or PCB testing is a plus
