Essential Duties:

Customer Service: Ensure and exude world-class customer service and sales to internal and external customers. Includes saying bonjour (hello) to every customer. Engage verbally with each customer and effectively sell through product knowledge and suggestive selling. Show pride in every aspect of your work and perform it with friendliness, energy and enthusiasm. Product Knowledge: Actively demonstrates product knowledge (bread, pastry, baked goods, coffee, cheese, and specialty goods) to enable the effective sales, up-selling, sampling, pairing, merchandising and fronting of products.
Correctly timeout products during shift.
Follow the CARE acronym and greet customers within 15 seconds.
Work the register accurately and with speed.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency of cash handling.
Merchandise to La Farm standards, properly signed products, samples, and store.
Perform proper rotation and quality control.
Maintain grade A or better by beating health and sanitation inspection standards.
Uphold company standards and policies for open/close

Complete daily checklists and trays outs.

Ensure overall unit safety and sanitation goals and policies

Packing: Tender effective packing of breads and bakery products for maximum quality, zero breakage and accurate invoice picking to assure accurate customer fulfillment.
Vehicle Safety and Maintenance: Completes vehicle safety pre-check prior to driving (gas, tire treads, lights, wind shield wiper, and accurate maintenance log up to date), adjusts mirrors and seat for maximum safe driving reports, adheres to all road rules and completes post-check to assure that vehicle is clean, gassed, and stocked for next shift. (if operating company vehicle)
Review orders prior to delivery, load and unload trucks.
Set up next shift for success.
Vehicle Maintenance: Follows proper driving and vehicle maintenance during shift and communicates maintenance issues to supervisor or manager on duty to assure large investment of vehicle is maintained to maximum standards of safety. (if operating company vehicle)
Experience with customer service, food service or high-end retail preferred.
Cash handling and sales experience preferred.
Flexibility required: Weekends required
Strong Weekends verbal communication and people skills.
Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
Valid drivers license (if operating company vehicle)
Must be 18 years or older
Motor Vehicle record in good standing (if operating company vehicle)
Great relationship building skills and demonstrated positive demeanor as a team player
Ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask and accurately meet deadlines
Demonstrated initiative and willingness to help out wherever needed
