Quality Control Technician
North Phoenix - HVAC Manufacturing Company ?? Phoenix, Arizona (near Deer Valley Airport) | Full-Time, Permanent | $22.00-$25.00/hr, commensurate with experience
About the Role
We're looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Phoenix team, ensuring that our custom commercial cooling units meet customer standards and specifications before they ship for installation.
What You'll Do
  • Perform quality control testing on custom commercial cooling units against customer specifications
  • Calibrate and measure components using tape measures, gauges, meters, and calipers
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Document and report inspection results in accordance with company and industry standards
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve quality issues

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of quality control experience
  • HVAC experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel & MS Word) and math skills for calibration and measurement
  • Blueprint reading capability
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask while working well with a team
  • Comfortable standing or walking for extended periods
  • Able to work onsite in our Phoenix office, Monday through Friday

Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required. Some travel may occasionally be required.
