Job Description
Our Clearwater, Florida operation is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join the team. The QC Inspector is responsible for all dimensional inspections related to CNC Precision Machining including:
  • Performs inspection of products to ensure 1st piece,
    in-process, and final product quality of parts, components, and assemblies
    using customer blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, and other
    applicable sources to observe, measure, and record conformity to customer,
    regulatory, and company specifications.
  • Extensive knowledge and use of common inspection
    measurement tools, calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, gage pins, bore
    gages, optical comparator, CMM, Cadillac gage and height gage, among
    others, and ensures correct methods, tools, and criteria are used for
    inspection.
  • Familiar with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management
    Systems, and proficient working within the guidelines related to said QMS.
  • Familiar with CAR/SCAR/NCP processes and ability to
    maintain logs.
  • Familiar with AS9102 First Article documentation as
    required by customer specifications.
  • Record variable inspection data on detailed inspection
    plans for the purpose of capturing measurement results, proficiency with
    SPC is required.
  • Prepare and use electronic documentation for reporting
    inspection data.
  • Internal calibration of inspection equipment and
    machinery will be required on occasion, previous experience in this field
    is mandatory.

Qualifications
  • CNC shop experience a MUST
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can
    successfully manage the demands of multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical
    drawings, and symbols.
  • Able to understand and apply problem solving methods,
    statistical sampling, and inspection techniques.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Exceptional work ethic and follow-through skills.
  • Exceptional detail orientation needed to maintain 100%
    accuracy.
  • Team player
  • AA degree or equivalent
