What you'll do?

Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets. Lifts pallet to examine pallet, removes defective boards, and corrects nail related issues. Understands pallet specifications and modification necessary for customers. Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of quality control station..

    Hours:

    2nd Shift

    Monday - Thursday

    4:00 pm - 2:00 am

    Pay rate- $17.00

    Duties Include:

    • Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
    • Attention to detail & commitment to quality
    • Inspects pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination. Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
    • Removes damaged boards with pry bar/hammer.
    • Cleans area during and at end of shift.
    • May be required to work frequent overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.
    • Performs other duties as required.

    Skills

    • Must be 18+ years old
    • Basic tool knowledge is a plus
    • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
