Job description

Quality Control Inspector
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Quality Control Inspector to support our shop and pipe yard operations for a company based in Pearland, Texas. The Inspector ensures products meet set standards by inspecting, testing and measuring.
Pay Rate:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm
Quality Control Inspector Duties and Responsibilities
• Inspecting Products: Checking incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods for defects, adhering to quality standards.
• Recording inspection results, test data, and reports in databases to track quality trends.
• Corrective Action: Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects, and pausing production if necessary to address quality issues.
• Calibrating and ensuring inspection equipment is working properly
Quality Control Inspector Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly is often preferred, with many positions requiring 3-5 years of experience in similar roles for specialized industries.
• Proactively identifying causes of defects and contributing to process improvements
• Strong observational skills to spot minute defects or process variations.
• Proficiency with, or experience using, measuring instruments.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
