Job description

Job Title: Quality Supervisor - Water Bottling Plant


Job Summary: As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will be responsible for monitoring, reporting and maintaining quality control processes throughout the manufacturing process. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and knowledge of quality assurance procedures will contribute to the overall success of our operations.


General Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of increasing responsibility in quality control for food manufacturing.
  • A degree in biology, food science or related field is preferred but not mandatory depending upon experience and ability.
  • Certification as a Preventive Control Qualified Individual (PCQI) is a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections: Raw materials, production, finished goods , document and report results.
  • Monitor production processes: Identify potential quality issues, equipment malfunctions, deviations from standard operating procedures (SOPs), or contamination risks.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the bottling or food CPG industry (e.g., FDA, NSF, HACCP, GMP).
  • Analyze samples: Collect samples from and conduct analyses using including pH levels, mineral content, microbial contaminants, and other relevant parameters.
  • Document, record and maintain detailed records of quality inspection results, test data, and any non-conformance issues on raw material and finished goods.
  • Calibration and maintenance of testing instruments and equipment are properly calibrated, maintained, and validated.
  • Compliance adherence with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal standard operating procedures.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Training and support: Provide training and guidance to production line staff on quality control procedures, product specifications, and best practices.
  • Train and support Quality Control Technicians in SOP’s
