Job description


Perform high level possibly complex operations such as inspection, assembly, disassembly, packaging and testing for mobile phones and/or similar electronic products.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs, assembly, dis-assembly and re-assembly of components using manual or mechanical tools per Work Instruction.
  • Understand the Production Flow process and the job responsibilities of the area
  • Use designated tools to protect the product from scratches, drops and other issues related to proper handling of the unit.
  • Ensure Work Instructions are followed for appropriate processing and provide input for optimization/improvements as necessary.
  • Receive, verify, inspect and control both compliant and non-compliant materials where applicable.
  • Follow quality standards defined in the work instruction.
  • Report immediately to Line Leader any incident that make put at risk product targets, quality of the product or employee safety or work labor environment.
  • Receive, control and store material (material kit for the Line or shipping) maintaining the proper inventory levels.
  • Work with scrap control and proper disposition.
  • Verify that any rejected unit is properly identified and taken to designated area ensuring that quantity, failed code and type of failure is clearly identified.
  • Inspect equipment and tools to identify any replacements, malfunctions and/or repairs and escalate to leaders for correction. This will include the quality of soldered components.
  • Ensure materials and equipment assigned are safeguarded and preserved/protected at all times.
  • Use designated tools to perform the job and escalate to a leader when help is required, to eliminate the possibility of workmanship errors.
  • Comply with the Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Management Systems and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area daily, according to 5S standards.
  • Comply with the annual mandatory training plan.
  • Other duties as assigned.
