Compensation: | $55-60/h | Per Diem: $4,515 | Hourly W2 Full Time | OT after 40 hours | Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental |
Position Overview
The QC Foreman role is a key position within Halo Technical Solutions Global's quality and commissioning team, responsible for leading field quality control operations on large-scale industrial construction projects. This role ensures inspection activities, contractor workmanship, and field execution meet project quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes. Operating in fast-paced environments such as data centers, manufacturing facilities, and other mission-critical infrastructure, this position supervises QC inspectors, enforces quality standards in the field, and coordinates with construction leadership to ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Oversee daily QC operations, inspection coverage, and field staff deployment across active work areas
โ€ข Supervise QC inspectors, including daily priorities, briefings, and real-time field direction
โ€ข Coordinate with superintendents and foremen to align QC activities with construction progress
โ€ข Enforce project quality standards and stop work when conditions are unsafe or non-compliant
โ€ข Verify contractor QC programs and hold teams accountable for deficiencies and rework
โ€ข Conduct field audits of workmanship, installations, and QC processes
โ€ข Manage punch lists, non-conformances, and corrective actions through to closure
โ€ข Coordinate and verify rework activities and escalate unresolved quality issues
โ€ข Oversee and witness field testing and commissioning activities
โ€ข Verify test procedures, equipment calibration, and compliance with acceptance criteria
โ€ข Coordinate system readiness with commissioning teams and maintain test documentation
โ€ข Align QC activities with project schedules, milestones, and look-ahead plans
โ€ข Participate in coordination and schedule meetings to support field execution
โ€ข Ensure QC activities support project progress without unnecessary delays
โ€ข Ensure timely completion of QC documentation, reports, and daily field records
โ€ข Review inspection reports and generate daily/weekly QC status updates
โ€ข Maintain organized QC records and escalate critical issues to leadership
โ€ข Enforce safety requirements and exercise stop-work authority when required
โ€ข Lead safety compliance within QC operations and ensure PPE and training adherence
Required Experience & Qualifications
โ€ข 3-5+ Years of QC / construction experience
โ€ข Strong background in electrical or industrial construction in large-scale commercial environments
โ€ข Experience supervising field teams or inspection personnel
โ€ข Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems (conduit, cable tray, terminations, panels, switchgear, etc.)
โ€ข NFPA70E prior to interfacing with any electrical equipment or services
โ€ข Journeyman Electrician License
โ€ข OSHA 30 preferred
โ€ข Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents
โ€ข Working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes and standards
โ€ข Strong leadership, communication, and field decision-making ability
โ€ข Ability to enforce quality and safety standards in real time
โ€ข Commitment to accountability, safety, and quality
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
โ€ข Experience leading field QC, inspection teams, or construction work crews in active large-scale industrial projects
โ€ข Strong background in data center, manufacturing, or mission-critical construction environments
โ€ข Experience operating in superintendent-driven, schedule-critical field environments with production pressure
โ€ข Proven ability to enforce quality standards directly with trade contractors in real time
โ€ข Experience coordinating multi-trade field execution and resolving sequencing conflicts
โ€ข Strong understanding of commissioning processes, system turnover, and integrated testing activities
โ€ข Proficiency with QA/QC platforms (ACC, CxAlloy, or similar systems)
โ€ข Experience balancing field production demands with strict quality and safety requirements
