Job Title: Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager Facilities Support Services

Job Summary:

Ensure contract compliance and service excellence at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and Naval Weapons Station in Charleston, SC. As LAUKOAs QA/QC Manager, you will oversee quality assurance and quality control for all facilities support services, including maintenance, janitorial, groundskeeping, and environmental functions. Your role is critical to maintaining performance standards, identifying deficiencies, and driving continuous improvement across the contract.

Location: Charleston, SC

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Control Plan in compliance with contract requirements and Section C performance objectives.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of all service areas, including facilities maintenance, custodial services, grounds maintenance, and environmental/safety functions.
  • Identify performance deficiencies, document findings, and track corrective actions to resolution.
  • Maintain inspection logs, service documentation, and monthly performance reports for submission to the Contracting Officers Representative (COR).
  • Monitor adherence to the Performance Work Statement (PWS), safety regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Support pre-performance meetings, customer satisfaction surveys, and performance review briefings.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, supervisors, and functional leads to ensure compliance with all contractual, safety, and operational standards.
  • Maintain documentation for training, certifications, and quality tracking tools.

Qualifications:

  • Shall possess at least five (5) years of recent experience in quality assurance or performance evaluation for federal support services contracts, including experience with facility maintenance, janitorial, or base operations support.
  • Demonstrated experience developing or managing Quality Control Plans in accordance with FAR and government contracting requirements.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable facility operations standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), inspection templates, and service performance tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and interact professionally with government representatives and contractor staff.
  • Associates or bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a favorable adjudication via a DHS background investigation and maintain suitability clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident with work authorization.
  • This position may require the operation of Company-provided vehicles.
    • If operating Company-provided vehicles, maintaining a valid drivers license in good standing is a condition of employment.
    • If operating Company-provided vehicles, employee must comply with all Company vehicle use and safety policies, as well as all applicable traffic laws.
    • If operating Company-provided vehicles, the Company may review your motor vehicle record (MVR), as permitted by law, to verify eligibility to operate Company vehicles.
    • If operating Company-provided vehicles, you must immediately notify the Company if your drivers license is suspended, revoked, restricted, expires, or if your driving privileges otherwise change.

Salary Range - $75,000 To $100,000

Work schedules are determined by management and may be modified at any time based on business needs, contractual obligations, and operational requirements.
