Job description

POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of the food products. Enforces the Good Manufacturing Practices through the entire facility. Ensures equipment meets the company cleaning standards. Responsible for verifying all labels in the facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
• Checking and verifying that all HACCP tasks are performed on each machine running.
• Verifying that all labels are accurate and match proof sheets.
• Performs bacteria tests and allergens testing prior to product runs.
• Assists the Production staff to ensure that all work areas are kept clean.
• Assists the Production Team Leader with entering performance data on the white board.
• Performs hourly weight checks & flavor checks on each running line.
• Assists Quality Assurance in reviewing production paperwork for accuracy.
• Assists Quality Assurance in receiving product inspections
• Assists Sales Team with making of mixes and samples
• Performs other job duties as required
Skills/Abilities:
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate with all levels
• Well organized
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a Quality Inspector role
• Food Safety
