Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced deli associate to join the team at our successful store. As a deli associate, you will be responsible for operating the meat department to the high standards set forth by the company. You will trim and prepare standard cuts of meat as specified in-store guidelines and follow the store’s meat merchandising plan. The deli associate's goal is to drive sales within the meat department and maximize profitability. 

Responsibilities 
  • Cut and trim meat using deli slicer
  • Package and display meat in an attractive manner
  • Maintain proper levels of prepared sliced meats for sandwiches
  • Receive and inspect meat throughout the day to ensure quality
  • Follow standards of sanitation and quality control
  • Willing to do other tasks assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Experience using meat cutting equipment is preferred
  • Experience with customer service/retail work
  • Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30-40lbs
