Job description

As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will oversee quality inspection personnel and ensure that all products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA, DoD).You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, investigating non-conformances, and supporting audit readiness. This is an onsite role in our Salem, OR. facility. You will report to the Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily activities of QC Inspectors, technicians, and quality support personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, and documentation across production and inspection processes.
  • Monitor product quality through inspections, testing, and audits throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) for internal and external non-conformances.
  • Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001, Customer, etc.).
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Train, mentor, and coach QC team members to promote compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and calibration records.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.
  • Utilize quality metrics and data analysis to drive improvement and report performance trends

Qualifications
  • US Person
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering, quality, aerospace, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+years of quality assurance experience with 1+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Experience with inspection techniques, and use of precision measurement tools.
  • Proficiency with quality management systems software
  • Experience with root cause analysis, problem solving and corrective action forming and implementation.
