Job description

Position Summary:
The quality control team member is responsible for monitoring all products distributed from our warehouse, ensuring our high standards are met throughout
all stages of the picking, packing, and shipping processes. This associate also ensures all food safety procedures and GMP’s are being followed.
What you’ll do:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Inspects all products in warehouse for defects or approaching expiration.
  • Exercises judgment when conducting audits to ensure all product meets our high standard of quality.
  • Conducts routine audits to ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are practiced.
  • Maintains all paperwork in an accurate, orderly fashion.
  • Assists other departments as needed.

Food Safety Responsibilities
  • Works with Quality Assurance Team to ensure specific Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed.
  • Employee shall adhere to all company food safety policies, procedures, and trainings.

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Experience
  • 1 year of previous quality control experience.
  • Quality control experience in a food industry preferred.
