Quality Team Leader Job Description:

The Quality Team Leader is responsible for ensuring all products leaving our facilities are defect-free, meet company standards, and are in saleable condition for distribution. This role oversees daily quality operations, supports and guides Quality Inspectors, and works closely with management to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.

ย Quality Team Leader Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee initial, in-process, and final inspections as required

  • Lead dock audits, receiving inspections, and shipping inspections

  • Review and verify completion of quality documentation and forms

  • Ensure non-conforming products do not leave company premises

  • Oversee outbound shipment scanning to ensure accuracy and quality control

  • Ensure compliance with all established quality procedures and standards

  • Communicate quality concerns, shipment discrepancies, and scanning issues to management

  • Identify and address damaged items staged in outbound bays

  • Perform operational checks to monitor adherence to company procedures

  • Accurately document outbound audit results and maintain quality logs

  • Maintain inventory counts in assigned areas

  • Train, coach, and support Quality Inspectors and warehouse associates

  • Serve as the point of contact for quality-related questions and escalations

  • Communicate daily with management and team members regarding performance and expectations

  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions

  • Perform other duties as assigned

ย Quality Team Leader Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required

  • Previous quality inspection or auditing experience required; leadership experience preferred
