Quality Control AssistantLocation: Buchanan, NY
Pay Rate: 25.00
Kelly® is seeking a motivated and dedicated Quality Control Assistant to support manufacturing operations. Ready to take your next step with an industry leader? Join us and be a part of making quality happen!Schedule & Training:
  • Work Days: Monday – Saturday (occasional Wednesday off, as operations allow)
  • Normal: Monday to Saturday, 11:00 pm – 7:00 pm 
  • Training Period: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (first two weeks)
  • Shifts After Training: May remain on day shift or transition to evening shift (e.g., starting at 3:00 pm or later), with occasional slight adjustments to fill coverage gaps (advance notice provided).
What You’ll Do:
  • Report directly to the Quality Supervisor on the production floor.
  • Routinely cut and collect wallboard samples using a utility knife (wearing cut gloves) at regular intervals throughout your shift.
  • Accurately measure wallboard samples using a tape measure and log results.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols and proper protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Perform routine physical tasks, including walking, standing, lifting (up to 20 lbs., with assistance as needed), bending, and twisting.
  • Contribute to both day and evening shifts, with flexible schedules depending on business needs.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a standard tape measure is required.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
  • Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE at all times.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout your shift.
