Job description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MRI/CT/X-Ray Technologist to join a collaborative radiology team in a community-focused healthcare setting. This position is ideal for a motivated imaging professional who enjoys working in a smaller hospital environment, values autonomy, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
 
The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, including MRI, CT, and X-ray, while working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI, CT, and X-ray equipment.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent patient care throughout the imaging process.
  • Follow established imaging protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Assist with equipment quality control and routine maintenance.
  • Participate in the department's on-call rotation for holidays and vacation coverage.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • ARRT Certification (Required)
  • Minimum 3+ years of diagnostic imaging experience
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Positive attitude with a flexible, team-oriented approach
  • Willingness to relocate to Moab, UT (if not currently local)
 
Preferred:
  • Previous experience performing MRI and CT imaging
  • Multi-modality imaging experience
  • Cross-training in MRI and CT (training may be available for qualified candidates)
 
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time, non-exempt position
  • Day shift, Monday through Friday
  • Flexible scheduling with either:
  • 3 x 12-hour shifts, or
  • 4 x 10-hour shifts
  • Final schedule will be determined in collaboration with the selected candidate and departmental staffing needs.
  • Participation in an on-call rotation for holidays and vacation coverage.
