Remote Contract Opportunity
Location: Remote (East Coast time zone hours required)
Contract Length: (Initial term of 6 months)
Overview
We are seeking a QA Analyst/Engineer to join a large technology team supporting a federal client on a confidential, high-priority initiative. This remote contract role will work alongside a large team consisting primarily of developers and DevOps engineers. Specific project details will be shared with qualified candidates as the process advances.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for full stack web applications
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
  • Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Perform manual and/or automated testing as appropriate to the project
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and reviews
  • Communicate effectively with team members across East Coast working hours

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required (no exceptions)
  • Solid QA experience testing web-based applications (front-end and back-end)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Availability to work East Coast time zone hours
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active or previous U.S. government security clearance
  • Prior experience working on U.S. government or federal contracts
  • Experience testing applications built on Angular, PHP, and/or Java
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development/testing tools, particularly Claude
  • Experience working within larger team structures (20+ team members)
