Job description

Senior Quality Control Analyst (Long-term Contract)

Our large transportation-industry client based in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Quality Control Analyst to work independently and as part of Project Controls to become a subject matter expert on all applicable Amtrak and Enterprise Network Engineering & Convergence (ENEC) policies, processes, and procedures for resource management, project management, and adherence to OLA for delivery of ENEC Roadmap projects. This is a long-term contract role that requires experience in policy governance administration and the ability to manage and engage stakeholders, build relationship networks, and work with individuals having different functional expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Report on the output of information from monitoring execution of the ENEC Roadmap and other services rendered where there is an impact to external/internal customers
  • Support the team's processes to develop, review and edit draft policies and guidelines to align with changes in internal or external needs
  • Monitor and report on the organization's activities to ensure that they are complying with policies and guidelines
  • Investigate actions or events that do not comply with Amtrak or ENEC's policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines
  • Provide remediation to resolve non-compliance issues and report the result
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Amtrak's project management lifecycle and applicable ENEC project management practices and regulations related to the protection of sensitive data
  • Continuously improve, modify, and implement changes to ENEC's governance program
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to quality control for ENEC's forecasting spreadsheets by ENEC resources

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field with 3+ years of relevant work experience and or equivalent work experience or 6+ years of relevant work experience to satisfy education and experience requirements
  • Experience managing and engaging stakeholders, building relationship networks and working with individuals having different functional expertise is strongly preferred
  • Experience in policy governance administration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Master's degree in a related discipline
