In Pharma Technical Development, we actively collaborate and develop creative technical solutions to efficiently transform scientific ideas into products that reliably deliver our pipeline to patients. As a Lab Analyst, you will join our Global Analytical Development and Quality Control team, a leader in developing and executing testing methods for our biologics pipeline. You will contribute to our mission through innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

The Opportunity
  • You perform a broad variety of basic and complex physico-chemical tests for biologics and other pharmaceutical compounds according to GMP.

  • You maintain accountability for deliverables affecting department goals and maintain a state of inspection readiness.

  • You identify discrepancies and support the resolution of technical problems to assist the department in meeting corporate objectives.

  • You schedule and execute routine and semi-routine assignments while supporting general lab maintenance operations.

  • You ensure the integration of environmental health, safety, and security into business processes, reporting any safety and environmental incidents within your functional area.

  • You adhere to cGMP policies and procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of activities and transactions in applicable systems.

  • You coordinate with customers to support operational activities and actively participate in group and project teamwork.

Who you are
  • You possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific discipline, 2 to 4 years of related experience in a lab environment.

  • You communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • You exercise sound judgment, reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • You demonstrate attention to detail with strong organization and prioritization skills.

  • You take accountability and work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred:

  • You preferably have previous GMP experience in a biopharmaceutical environment.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is 78 500,00 - 145 900,00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
