About the role
As a QA Program Manager - Healthcare (Facets), you will make an impact by leading end-to-end quality engineering programs for large-scale healthcare payer transformations. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with senior client stakeholders, delivery teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure high-quality, predictable outcomes across complex programs.
In this role, you will:
Own and drive end-to-end QA program delivery for large-scale Facets implementations and integrations
Define and lead test strategy, estimation, planning, execution, and governance across the full lifecycle
Manage multi-vendor, multi-stream delivery models across onsite and offshore teams
Oversee test execution, defect management, and release readiness, ensuring adherence to quality standards
Drive program-level reporting, quality metrics, and SLA compliance for executive stakeholders
Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure alignment on requirements, risks, and delivery milestones
Enable adoption of test automation and AI/GenAI-driven QA practices to improve efficiency and coverage

What you need to have to be considered
12-18 years of experience in Quality Engineering / QA, with 10+ years in program or test engagement leadership roles
Proven experience managing end-to-end QA delivery for large-scale Facets implementations
Strong expertise in healthcare payer domain (claims, enrollment, benefits, provider, billing)
Demonstrated experience managing complex multi-stream programs with onsite/offshore delivery models
Experience in test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and release governance
Strong experience managing client SLAs, commercials, and governance at senior/executive level
Hands-on exposure to test automation frameworks and modern QA practices
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
These will help you stand out
Experience driving QA transformation initiatives (automation, AI/GenAI adoption)
Strong understanding of integration ecosystems around Facets
Proven ability to manage large distributed teams across vendors and geographies
Experience working in regulated healthcare environments
Ability to act as a trusted advisor to client leadership

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $96.750 to $153,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
