Job description

This position is a 10-hour shift from Monday through Thursday on 1st shift (5am - 3:30pm).

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications/skills/experiences:

  • Ability to interpret/understand drawings, quality plans, and other documents as needed
  • Ability to interpret/understand dimension specifications & tolerances
  • Ability to follow written instructions and inspection techniques
  • Have experience with calipers, micrometers, snap meters, thread ring gages, Rockwell hardness testing equipment, effective case depth measuring equipment (Microvickers), dial indicators
  • Inspect parts at various stages of the production process
  • Maintains a clean work environment to eliminate potential product contamination
  • Perform visual quality audits
  • Basic knowledge utilizing Excel, MSOffice, Access, QuickBase, and Outlook
  • Ability to exhibit a keen perception in all areas of quality assurance
  • Identify non-conforming items, document defects, and report findings to relevant teams
  • Excellent work history
  • Good communication skills
