GCM understands the challenges companies face when it comes to the skills and experience needed to fill the void of the day to day function.  Organizations need to reduce training and labor costs but at same requiring the best "talent " for the job. 


Qualifications

Required skills: 
Passion for QA and knack for identifying tests that break code. 
Strong grasp of operating systems concepts including filesystems, networks, and memory management. 
Good understanding of algorithms and advanced data structures. 
Strong defect root cause analysis and problem solving skills 
3+ Years experience working in any Object Oriented Language expertise (e.g. Java, Python...) 
Working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Big Data technologies (such as
Teradata, Hadoop and MapReduce) gained through a combination of academic
studies and work experience. 
Added advantage if candidate has experience with Hadoop, SPARK or AWS. 
Added advantage working knowledge of big data technologies 
Knowledge and experience working in analytics is added advantage 
Experience in an Agile development process, such as XP and Scrum 
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills 
Ability to collaborate effectively with inter-disciplinary teams and management 
Motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail 
Preferred Education: 
BS or MS degree in computer science or computer engineering 
3+ years of relevant experience
