We're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team in West Henrietta, NY.

The Position:
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will work closely with the Quality and Production teams to ensure that materials, products, and processes conform to internal quality standards to achieve high customer satisfaction. This position will support the manufacturing of our Timing ProductsandGNSS Simulation Products


The Day to Day:

  • Perform quality inspections and tests on electronic components and material to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis investigations for nonconformities with a cross functional group and recommend containment and corrective action(s)
  • Assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control procedures, standards, and work instructions
  • Use various testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calipers to conduct inspections and tests
  • Document and report on inspection results and Quality KPIs


What you Bring to Safran:

  • Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality assurance or related role, preferably in electronics manufacturing
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and tools (ISO9001)
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
  • Experience in documentation and reporting on Quality Metrics
