Your responsibilities
Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist is the lead resource for the organization with respect to internal and external customer quality issues reported. This individual is responsible for tracking and analyzing material issues for non-conformance to quality standards, bringing about resolutions internally to resolve customer issue and prevent further non-conformance.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Respond to internal and external questions and complaints regarding material non-conformance discrepancies (NCD) including Customer/participant issued disputes (non-material disputes).
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of company's AS9100 quality system and serve as a resource for internal and external questions.
  • Investigate NCD reports and TK Aerospace internal processes based on the quality system and guide it through the resolution process.
  • Interface with internal department leaders and external customer for proper issue resolution. Provide timely communication and follow up.
  • Maintain accurate records of issue and resolution within the tkA non-conformance systems, including Customer-Controlled Systems.
  • Analyze trends and make recommendations to prevent future non-conformance issues.
  • Provide training to internal users of the NCD system, as needed.
  • Timely prepare and disseminate reports for monthly management review, weekly open/closed reports, issuance of corrective actions, and other reports as requested by management group.
  • Any assigned special projects

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements :
  • At least six months of work experience in a Quality Assurance role within an ISO9000 or AS9100 environment or equivalent experience; Associate degree in related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience and demonstrated ability in a problem-solving/analytical role.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Safety Mindset

Preferred Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; formal quality training experience.
  • SAP Software knowledge and experience
