Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Summary

The Quality Technician II applies acquired quality skills and standard inspection practices to ensure product meets requirements. This role performs inspections with moderate supervision and supports routine quality investigations and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect product according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Select and use appropriate inspection equipment (ID/OD micrometers, calipers, gages) with minimal guidance.
  • Read and interpret drawings, including basic GD&T requirements.
  • Document inspection results and nonconformances accurately.
  • Support PPAP sample inspections and routine audits.
  • Assist in 5 Why and 8D investigations under direction.

Experience & Skills

  • 2-3 years of quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and ability to inspect to requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • SAP experience preferred but not required.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
