We're Looking For A: Quality Associate
Location: Memphis, TN
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am - 3:30pm
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Visually inspects incoming product, labels, and packaging to ensure all meet specifications per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) requirements
  • Reviews product Certificate of Analysis (COA) against internal specifications to ensure full product compliance
  • Verifies all packing lists, Bill of Lading (BOL) and other documentation relating to incoming product is correct and acceptable
  • Conducts material review disposition via inspection checklists and within online inventory management system
  • Maintains COAs and inspection checklists within database so it may be accessed and reviewed by team
  • Prepares information for use in metric reports to communicate outcomes of Quality activities
  • Reviews labeling operations batch records and conducts AQL sampling during labeling operations
  • Sends out samples to third party labs and assesses results against internal product specifications
  • Manages retention of retain samples physically and systematically
  • Identifies deviations from standard operating procedures or areas for improvement
  • Trains new hires for Quality Assurance Inspector and/or Quality Assurance Associate I Inspector role
  • Assures ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):
  • 2-5 years of related experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related field (preferred)
  • NetSuite experience (preferred)
