A well-established aerospace metal finishing company is looking to add an Assistant Quality Manager to their team. In this role, you will support the Quality Assurance Manager, help lead the Quality team, and ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and confident communicating complex quality requirements across departments. You'll play an important role in specification review, audits, inspections, documentation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Assistant Quality Manager (Aerospace) Duties
  • Assist with managing and supporting the Quality Assurance team and daily quality operations
  • Review aerospace specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure compliance
  • Oversee and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits, inspections, and testing
  • Maintain quality documentation, reports, test plans, and corrective action records
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Partner with production, suppliers, and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve processes
 
Assistant Quality Manager (Aerospace) Requirements
  • 4+ years of quality assurance experience within the aerospace industry
  • Strong understanding of aerospace specification review, compliance, audits & NADCAP
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Pay:
$75,000-$85,000 annually
