Job Summary


We are seeking a Quality Assistant to support our Quality Department by maintaining documentation, assisting with inspections, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Quality Department with document control, inspection recordkeeping, and quality reporting.
  • Support Quality Engineers in conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections of piping materials (e.g., PVC, CPVC, PFA, PVDF) and fabricated components.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection checklists, calibration logs, and Nonconformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams to ensure compliance with customer drawings, specifications, and internal standards.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and support Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) documentation and follow-up tracking.
  • Organize and maintain quality documentation, including Certificates of Conformance (COC), test reports, material certifications, and supplier records.
  • Support internal audits and customer inspections by preparing documentation and assisting with communication.
  • Translate technical and quality-related documents between Mandarin and English as needed.
  • Assist with training coordination and continuous improvement initiatives related to quality procedures and safety compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ISO/QMS requirements, and site safety regulations.
  • Comfortable working in both office and fabrication environments as required.


Qualifications

  • Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Quality Management, Materials Science and Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Internship, academic project, or hands-on training experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering support is a plus but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of inspection processes and common measurement tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.
  • Interest in learning quality systems such as ISO 9001 or internal auditing practices.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred.
  • Positive attitude, dependable, and willing to support production and quality team objectives.
