Position Summary:


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assistant / Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to operate CMM equipment, perform inspections, and support incoming and source inspection activities while maintaining strong communication and teamwork.


Essential Functions:


Operate CMM equipment and perform dimensional inspections.
Perform source inspections at supplier locations as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate and maintain inspection areas in an organized manner.
Move materials and assist with material handling activities.
Support incoming material inspections when needed.
Use basic computer systems, inspection tools, and measuring equipment.
Communication inspection results clearly and professionally.
Work closely with team members to support production and quality goals.
Maintain a positive attitude and promote teamwork within the department.
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:


Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of inspection tools/measuring equipment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to travel to suppliers for source inspections.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Ability to lift 20 -50 pounds Max.
Team players with a positive attitude and willingness to help where needed.
Experience operating CMM equipment preferred.
