As the QA Compliance Manager,you will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, managing documentation and traceability, and conducting customer and regulatory audits. This is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to understand the importance of accurate documentation, attention to detail, and a timely escalation of significant compliance risks.

  • You have a high school diploma or GED.
  • You have 5 years of experience in quality, compliance, auditing, document control, manufacturing, aviation, and/or another structured work environment.
  • You have experience in an ODA environment or supporting FAA, foreign aviation authority, registrar, regulatory, or aviation customer oversight activities.
  • You have experience coordinating/conducting internal and external audits.
  • You have experience reviewing root-cause analyses and managing corrective actions.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • You have strong attention to detail.
  • You are organized, focused and results oriented.
  • You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
  • You have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF… (but it’s not a deal breaker)

  • You have experience in an ODA environment or supporting FAA, foreign aviation authority, registrar, regulatory, or aviation customer oversight activities.
  • You have experience maintaining controlled documents, compliance matrices, certification files, approval records, or related QMS documentation.
  • You have experience developing or delivering employee training on procedures, quality requirements, or compliance topics.
  • Lead internal and external audits, maintain inspection readiness and host regulatory auditors
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators related to quality and compliance
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on quality systems, regulatory standards, and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality compliance throughout the product lifecycle
  • Adhere to new and changing regulatory standards to ensure company compliance
  • Maintain QMS, identify potential gaps, process improvements, and make recommendations in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support the designated ODA Administrator with records, training, manual control, FAA oversight preparation, and action tracking.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
