Responsibilities:
The Quality Analyst 1 will support Barrow Wise's NYC Department of Social Services project and perform the following duties:
  • Initiate and implement testing
  • Identify user stories and translate them into test cases as required
  • Create Test cases vs. RTM Matrix against the user stories to support application development
  • Ensure that the application development is according to the quality assurance standards
  • Execute integration test cases covering all integration points with other applications
  • Coordinate defect triage calls with the design and development team
  • Coordinate with the UAT team on UAT test strategy and UAT test data
  • Coordinate UAT defect triage calls with the UAT team
  • Help team with performance testing
  • Identify test automation scenarios
  • Facilitate post-production verification for various releases
  • Provide management reporting and information dissemination
  • Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented
  • Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback
  • Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to specifications
  • Manage QA team activities - QA effort estimations, task allocations, creation of QA status JIRA dashboards and reports, facilitate QA signoff on meeting the defined exit criteria.
  • Work on-site in NYC

An ideal candidate has the following:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 4 Years of experience in Business/Quality Analysis tools such as JIRA, Balasamiq & MS Visio
  • 4 Years of experience with QTP, WinRunner, Visual Studio, Selenium, etc
  • 4 Years of experience creating, executing, and managing automation scripts
  • 4 Years of experience with SQL Server, LoadRunner, Jmeter
