Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated Production Assemblers to join our A Shift team in Fairport, NY. In this role, you will contribute to meeting daily production quotas while maintaining high quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate assembly equipment including hydraulic presses, drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
  • Rotate across different work cells as directed by supervisors or cell leaders.
  • Pack finished products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production cell.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly or lean manufacturing.
  • Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, read measuring devices, and follow written instructions.
  • Proficient English reading and writing skills (including MSDS sheets and work instructions).


Physical Requirements

  • Regularly lift up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, standing for long periods, and moving around the production floor.
