Job description

Alchelyst is a client solutions and infrastructure partner for private markets asset managers. Purpose-built for the expanding demands and sophistication of global private markets, the firm offers a comprehensive managed service offering that can support GPs, private wealth funds and investors. Alchelyst has offices in the US, Ireland, UK, Luxembourg and India.

The position will support intermediary onboarding, fund launches, and distribution services for our achor client (Apollo Global). The Analyst will be responsible for onboarding and servicing new distribution and financial intermediary clients for our client's growing private markets business, with a focus on coordination across third-party platforms and administrators. The role will partner closely with financial intermediaries, sales, third-party administrators, and transfer agents to support launches and ongoing servicing across alternative asset structures, including private equity funds, OpCos, BDCs, non-traded REITs, and interval funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the launch of private market funds and feeder vehicles for our anchor client in coordination with service providers, administrators, third-party platforms, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with onboarding new intermediary and distribution partners to enable distribution of our client's private market funds across the global wealth channel.
  • Support operational and home office contacts at financial intermediaries and distribution partners across both pre- and post-sales activities.
  • Help oversee key third-party service providers and administrators supporting our client within the global wealth ecosystem.
  • Partner with client's stakeholders to communicate product availability, fund events, and platform requirements, and assist with training on investor operational procedures and best practices.
  • Prepare Excel- and PowerPoint-based materials for internal and external use related to fundraising, product operations, and product availability.
  • Collaborate across teams to resolve operational issues and improve execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1โ€“3 years of experience supporting alternative investment products (private equity, private credit, real estate, or other private markets vehicles) within fund operations, fund administration, investor services, transfer agency, distribution operations, or financial intermediary servicing.
  • Experience supporting financial intermediaries, wealth platforms, transfer agents, or third-party administrators involved in private market fund distribution โ€” including fund launches, onboarding new distribution partners, investor servicing, or platform operations โ€” is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of the wealth segment of financial services and private markets investment structures from an operational and client service perspective.
  • Possesses ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a high volume, fast paced, deadline-oriented environment while maintaining high level to attention to detail and accuracy.
    Ability to make thoughtful and effective decisions in critical situations;demonstrates sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential firm and client information
  • Strong knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook with a preferred level of Intermediate or above in MS Excel.
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Communications preferred.
What Success Looks Like
  • Successfully onboard and launch low- to medium-complexity products and distribution partners with minimal oversight, coordinating effectively across internal and external stakeholders while delivering fund and feeder vehicle launches accurately and on schedule.
  • Build trusted relationships with distribution partners, service providers, fund administrators, transfer agents, custodians, and internal teams, becoming a reliable operational partner known for responsiveness, sound judgment, and effective issue resolution.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience by providing high-quality operational support, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and demonstrating a strong understanding of private market structures, wealth platform requirements, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions to keep onboarding activities, product launches, and strategic initiatives on track, navigating complexity in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting on fundraising activity, product availability, and operational metrics using Excel and PowerPoint to support informed decision-making by internal stakeholders and external partners.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
