This isn't your average AV gig — you'll lead a crew of tech wizards to design and install custom audio-visual experiences that amaze, educate, and inspire. From shop floor to museum floors across the country, your work will be seen (and heard!) by thousands.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Rolling up your sleeves for hands-on fabrication and installation of complex AV systems.
  • Leading your crew through shop builds and on-site installs — from Lorton, VA to museum destinations nationwide.
  • Mounting monitors, projectors, speakers — all the tech magic that makes exhibits sing.
  • Troubleshooting like a champ across AV/IT/electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Translating blueprints and schematics into jaw-dropping real-world displays.
  • Keeping the team on track, gear in check, and deadlines on point.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior techs.
  • Ability to maintain records and drawings for As-Built Documentation.
  • Self-manage time and deadlines.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOUR RESUME
  • Strong communication chops (you’ll talk tech with both teammates and clients).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, basic IT, and PC hardware.
  • Experience with project coordination and working from construction drawings.
  • Comfort working at heights (up to 35 ft), lifting up to 75 lbs, and staying OSHA-smart.
  • A knack for keeping documentation and as-builts tidy and accurate.
  • Entry-level know-how of CAD or Visio is a big plus.
  • Certifications: CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, OSHA, QSC Qsys
  • Experience with Medialon, AMX, Extron, Crestron, Brightsign, or Pandora’s Box
  • Programming skills in Java, Python, or C+
  • Familiarity with QSC, Cisco, Juniper, ZeeVee, PLCs, and Ladder Logic
