About the role
As a Qlik Administrator, you will make an impact by managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise Qlik environments that enable critical analytics, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities. You will be a valued member of the Data & Analytics team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, data engineers, developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable and reliable reporting solutions that support business and insurance operations.
In this role, you will:
  • Administer and support Qlik Sense and QlikView environments, ensuring platform stability, security, availability, and optimal performance.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Qlik applications, system resources, reload schedules, and reporting workloads to maximize reliability and efficiency.
  • Manage platform security, user access, authentication, governance policies, and compliance requirements in accordance with enterprise standards.
  • Partner with business, analytics, and technology teams to deliver scalable reporting and data visualization solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Support platform upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery capabilities, and continuous improvement initiatives while resolving production issues and performance challenges.

Work model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a Cognizant or client office in Hartford, CT.

What you need to have to be considered
  • 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Platforms, Data Warehousing, or related technologies.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience administering Qlik Sense and/or QlikView environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Qlik architecture, security, governance, clustering, load balancing, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Qlik Management Console (QMC), deployment management, upgrades, migrations, and platform administration.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and enterprise scheduling/orchestration tools.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration and automation/scripting, preferably PowerShell.
  • Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise reporting and analytics environments.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between $110,500 - $130,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
