Job Overview:
Job Summary**
The Lead Coordinator QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) is responsible for overseeing and implementing all QHSE programs and initiatives for Primoris Energy Services in Hubbard, TX. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and best practices to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QHSE management systems and procedures for the Hubbard, TX site.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, evaluate compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure proper documentation and reporting of all incidents, near misses, and non-conformities.
* Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees and contractors, ensuring understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
* Monitor and analyze QHSE performance metrics, prepare reports for management, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local QHSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and company policies.
* Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to foster a strong safety culture and promote proactive risk management.
* Manage and maintain all necessary QHSE documentation, permits, and records.
* Participate in pre-job planning and hazard assessments for new projects and activities.
* Act as a primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and inquiries.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
* 5+ years of experience in a dedicated QHSE role, preferably within the energy services or construction industry.
* Proven experience in developing and implementing QHSE management systems.
* Strong understanding of federal, state, and local QHSE regulations (e.g., OSHA 1910, 1926, EPA).
* Certifications such as CSP, CHST, ASP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to conduct effective training sessions and lead incident investigations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to travel locally to project sites as needed.
