Job description

As the Manager - Quality Control you will manage the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to quality standards. You will propose corrective actions to improve compliance with quality specifications. You will recommend new or improved quality control methods, procedures, and/or standards. You will direct the activity of the quality department to insure all customer requirements, product specifications, and process outputs will support current business plans. You will direct improvements in the quality management system to meet customer expectations and grow the business model.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute the Quality Management System.
  • Direct the activities of the quality department.
  • Manage a corrective action process to address quality issues.
  • Lead communication with customers to resolve questions and define corrective actions.
  • Develop plans for the Quality Management System to expand and support business growth.
  • Report the performance of the operation using statistical processes.
  • Devise ways to continually improve the quality control process to ensure higher-quality goods.
  • Keep accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
  • Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3 years required, 5 years preferred of related work experience.
  • 1 years required, 3 years preferred of supervisory experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of mathematics, data analysis and statistical methods.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate schedules.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Ability to calibrate precise measurements.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to communicate with the public.
  • Ability to manage other employees.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
