Job description

QUALITY CONTROL ASSOCIATE

Location: Youngsville, NC
Shift: 2nd Shift | 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (or until work is complete)
Pay: Starting at $16.00/hr + $2.00/hr Shift Differential

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to support product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing operation. This position works closely with production teams to identify quality concerns, maintain documentation, support safety initiatives, and help ensure products meet company and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality inspections and internal audits throughout the facility

  • Verify products meet company and customer specifications

  • Identify defects, quality issues, and process deviations

  • Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts

  • Track and report inspection results, customer rejects, and remakes

  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation

  • Support vendor certifications, audits, and calibration programs

  • Promote compliance with company quality standards and procedures

  • Train and coach employees on quality and safety best practices

  • Report safety hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions

  • Work with multiple departments to improve quality and efficiency

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Safety/Quality Manager

QualificationsRequired
  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or quality control experience

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to accurately enter and track data

Preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Previous quality inspection experience

  • Experience in a glass manufacturing environment
