Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Control & Receiving Associate for a direct hire opportunity in Kent, OH. This role is ideal for a detail-driven manufacturing professional who enjoys hands-on inspection work, accurate receiving processes, and supporting product quality from incoming materials through final packaged goods.
The Quality Control & Receiving Associate will work closely with production, purchasing, and inventory teams to verify materials, identify non-conformances, document inspection results, and help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant operation. This is a strong opportunity to join a stable, quality-focused environment with supportive leadership, teamwork, training, and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for quantity, product type, condition, and accuracy.
- Inspect raw materials, components, packaging supplies, labels, inserts, part numbers, and finished packaged products for quality and specification compliance.
- Document received goods, inspection results, discrepancies, deviations, and corrective actions according to company procedures.
- Coordinate with purchasing, suppliers, and production teams to resolve shortages, damaged goods, quality issues, and non-conforming materials.
- Maintain organized records for inventory accuracy, audits, certifications, traceability, and compliance requirements.
- Follow safety, housekeeping, quality, and production standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $48,000 to $54,000 per year.
