Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control to join our dynamic research and development team. Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining laboratory samples, reagents, and solutions following standard protocols
  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments under supervision, ensuring adherence to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines
  • Support quality control processes by monitoring sample integrity and recording data accurately
  • Maintain detailed documentation of experimental procedures, observations, and results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Follow safety protocols related to microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and veterinary terminology
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and report generation to support research and development initiatives
  • Support compliance with FDA regulations by ensuring proper documentation and laboratory procedures are followed
  • Collaborate with team members across different disciplines such as microbiology, histology, or molecular biology to facilitate project progress
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment to ensure safety and efficiency

Primary Job Functions:

  • Test materials for color and other physical properties according toestablished testing procedures.
  • Work with Color Matchers to determine corrections for out-of-spec samplesand communicate adjustments to Production associates.
  • Prepare samples for submission to customers.
  • Perform other testing as directed by the technical manager.
  • Weighing up gram bags for production.
  • Obtaining pigment samples.

Desired experience:

  • Knowledge of pigments/colorants and their use in the plastics industry
  • Knowledge of plastics processing equipment including: two roll mill, twinscrew extrusion, and injection molding
  • Knowledge of testing equipment including color spectrophotometer, meltindexer, moisture analyzer, sieve analysis
  • Proficiency with common business software including Excel, Outlook, andWord
