Job description

Position Summary
The CJIS Application Tester will be responsible for system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validation of system requirements for the Connecticut Information Sharing System and other CJIS-managed applications. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise-level system integration, API testing, automation framework development, and data validation. The tester will work closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance with CJIS standards.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in software testing or QA engineering within IT projects.
  • Experience testing large integrated enterprise systems.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Java or C# programming.
  • Experience with data-driven automation testing.
  • Knowledge of Extent Reports or similar automation reporting tools.
  • Experience with GitHub for version control.
