Volt is immediately hiring a Software Quality Test Engineer in San Diego, CA.
As a Software Quality Test Engineer, you will:
  • Work closely with a global cross functional team to validate and quality test HMI software applications utilizing the Agile development and test process
  • Evaluate and validate software applications.
  • Execute, add new test scripts on test automation suite for validating software changes.
  • Replicate quality issues reported by our customers and field users
  • Work closely with the development to determine appropriate solutions for quality issues.
  • Actively participate in quality review process.

This is a 6-month temp assignment, working 100% onsite at the San Diego Facility.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm plus overtime as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Completed Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
  • 2+ years of software quality testing
  • Strong communication skills, to communicate with end users and business leaders
  • Good Experience in Python Programming, Selenium WebDriver.
  • Proven experience using Rockwell PLC and RSLogix Studio Or similar areas.
  • Excellent knowledge in testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, write and testcases, open and verify bugs in Azure DevOps or similar environment)

Pay Rate*: $36.00 to $37.00 Per Hour DOE
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
