Quality Assurance Reviewer Level 2 (Medical-Legal Reports) – Hybrid / Primarily Remote

Location: Macedonia, OH Salary: $58,000 – $68,000 per year (Full-Time)


Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Reviewer (Level 2) reviews and analyzes medical-legal reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and defensibility. You’ll verify that conclusions are clear, evidence-based, and compliant with applicable standards, working directly with physicians to strengthen reports. This role is mostly remote but requires in-person onboarding and 1–2 office days per month in Macedonia, OH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review physician reports for clarity, completeness, and analytical soundness.
  • Ensure medical and legal questions are fully addressed with logical, evidence-based reasoning.
  • Collaborate with physicians to refine and finalize reports.
  • Communicate professionally with doctors, clients, and colleagues.
  • Manage multiple time-sensitive assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Support quality-improvement projects as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Exceptional analytical and persuasive writing ability.

  • Comfortable interpreting medical terminology.

Education & Experience

  • 2 + years of experience in a relevant medical, legal, or insurance role preferred.
  • Prior QA, claims management, or medical-legal review experience a plus; outstanding new graduates considered.
