    Primary Responsibilities
    The Regional Quality Assurance Supervisor will be onsite in our distribution centers, partnering closely with local operations teams to identify issues, root cause errors, and implement corrective actions that mitigate risk. In addition, this role will train operations leaders on how to conduct effective coaching and feedback sessions with their front-line associates, ensuring consistent communication and accountability at every level. As with all positions at KeHE Distributors, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE's Mission, Vision, and Values.
    Essential Functions
    DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Implement and oversee the company's quality assurance program at assigned distribution centers, ensuring compliance from inbound to outbound operations.
    • Serve as the primary QA contact within the region, providing guidance and support to site-level teams.
    • Manage, train and mentor site-level QA teams and associates on company standards, procedures, and expectations.
    • Teach operations teams how to deliver effective coaching and feedback sessions with their front-line associates to reinforce quality and performance expectations.
    • Ensure consistent interpretation and execution of QA standards across all distribution centers in the region.
    • Provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action where needed to maintain program compliance.
    • Promote consistent execution of QA policies across the region while accounting for local operational nuances.
    • Share best practices and lessons learned to drive network-wide improvements in quality performance.
    • Partner with distribution center leadership, operations, and corporate QA teams to ensure seamless program implementation.
    • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving service levels, reducing risk, and enhancing quality.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
    • Strong understanding of warehouse operations from inbound receiving through outbound shipping.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
    • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to teach and coach others in effective feedback techniques.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse/quality management systems (e.g., WMS, SAP, Manhattan, JDA).
    • Ability to lead and manage a team of associates in providing guidance and training on processes.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Food Safety, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, warehouse operations, or related fields required.
    • Experience in food distribution or consumer goods strongly preferred.
    • Experience leading QA programs or quality compliance initiatives in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The associate is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate to high.
