Position Overview:

Software QA Analyst works on testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of Circles software products. Participates in all levels of project testing including usability, integration, regression, system performance and user acceptance.


The Software QA Analyst will report to the Manager of Quality Assurance.


General Responsibilities:

  • Identify and report root cause of defects and issues found during testing, create, modify, execute test cases to verify published business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with scientific advisors and physicians to testing algorithms withclinical workflows.
  • Fast learner on basic cardiac anatomy with DICOM medical images.
  • Troubleshoot issues found during testing and assist in problem analysis.
  • Communicate daily and weekly progress to the assigned scrum team.
  • Establish and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work.
  • Perform regularly or on-demand execution of automated regression tests.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, performance/load testing on multiple platforms (Mac, Windows, Linux).
  • Other general software testing activities as required.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ years of software testing experience with experience in developing automationscripts.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in ateam environment across multiple geographic locations and cultures.
  • Coding experience in Javascript and Python is a plus.


Beneficial Skills/Experience:

  • Experience testing/evaluating software against various hardware components (hard drive
    types, GPU/video cards, memory configurations, etc.)
  • Keen interest in biological sciences/medical/healthcare applications is a plus.


Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, biological
    sciences/medical/healthcare or related field.
