Job description

Medical Quality Assurance Specialist (Part-Time/Flexible)
United Talent Staffing is hiring a Medical Quality Assurance Specialist for a healthcare client. This position may be based in Charleston, WV; White Hall, WV; Huntington, WV; Prestonsburg, KY; or remotely for qualified candidates.

Pay & Benefits
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
Schedule
  • Part-Time (20–30 hours/week)
  • Monday–Friday preferred
  • Flexible daytime schedule
  • Occasional evenings or weekends as needed
Responsibilities
  • Review and audit medical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews and identify discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidential information.
  • Prepare reports and communicate findings.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare policies and regulations.
  • Use Microsoft Office and other technology to maintain records.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in medical quality assurance, medical records, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Comfortable learning new technology and healthcare software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
